FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the Developmental Showcase?
The Developmental Showcase is a special performance event held twice a year, in the winter and spring, for all of our recreational students. It gives students the opportunity to demonstrate what they’ve learned in class by performing a routine (or multiple routines, depending on the class) in front of family and friends.
Who can participate in the showcase?
All students enrolled in our developmental classes (including Pre-Gym) are invited to participate. Each student will learn a routine during their regular class time leading up to the event.
When and where is the showcase held?
The showcase takes place twice annually—once in the winter and once in the spring. Specific dates, times, and locations will be announced ahead of each event.
Is there an admission fee?
No! Admission is complimentary, and we encourage family and friends to attend and support the athletes.
What does each student receive for participating?
Every student who participates in the showcase will receive:
- A custom leotard
- A medal during a special ceremony
- A certificate of achievement
- A photo opportunity to commemorate their performance
Do students need to attend extra practices?
No additional practices are required. All routines are taught and practiced during regular class times in the weeks leading up to the showcase.
How do I sign my child up for the showcase?
Students are automatically enrolled into each showcase.
Can I take pictures or videos during the event?
Yes! Families are welcome to take photos and videos. There will also be designated photo opportunities to ensure you can capture the moment.
