DIRECTORS

DeShaun Holden

Owner

Hi! I’m Deshaun, a former competitive gymnast whose early experiences taught resilience and self-reliance. I trained at Gemini, Apollo, and Orlando Metro before earning my judge’s certificate at 16, serving in Florida and Georgia. In 2010, I began coaching full-time and now proudly own Top Notch Training Center, one of Georgia’s top gyms. We foster diversity, community, and excellence, producing numerous champions and scholarship-bound athletes while shaping the future of gymnastics through dedication and passion.

Melinda Arden

Owner

Hi! I'm Melinda Arden. I'm originally from Kentucky but have called Duluth home for the past 10 years. In 2025, I left my corporate role in operations management to join the TNT family. I hold degrees in Public Relations, Political Science, and a Master’s in Business Administration. I fell in love with gymnastics when my girls attended their first Parent & Me class at TNT.

Mariel Mariney

Business Manager

I'm Mariel! I began gymnastics at age 2 and competed until I was 18, later transitioning into coaching and judging. I’ve coached all levels and judged nationally and internationally, holding a Level 10 rating with multiple associations. I helped form the UGA’s Club Gymnastics team and earned a B.A. in Spanish. Now Business Manager at Top Notch, I love being back in the gym. Gymnastics shaped who I am, teaching me discipline, resilience, and confidence that I carry through life.

Deanna Daniel

Girl's Team Director

Hi, I’m Deanna Daniel. I’ve coached gymnastics for over 30 years, working with all levels, including Elite, TOPS, and Hopes. I love coaching compulsory bars, optional beam, and choreographing floor routines. A former Level 10 gymnast, I emphasize strong basics. I hold degrees in Exercise Science, Health Science, and a Master’s in Public Health. I also served as a DeKalb County police officer and detective. I enjoy outdoor activities and live with my K9-handler husband in Georgia.

My name is Chad Wiggins (KingChad), an educator with over 6 years of experience and After School Care Director at Topnotch Training Gym. I also coordinate special events like birthday parties, camps, and Parents' Night Out. As the owner of KingChad Cookfectionery, I craft treats, food and catering for special occasions. Driven by faith, love for children, and a strong work ethic, I strive to create nurturing, positive environments where kids can grow, learn, and thrive.
